 ROOT'N TOOT'N MUSO's

Mandy Stroud

Mandy Stroud is co founder member of Root'n Toot'n. She will be a familiar face to many from her days with The Smokey Mountain Boys and is renown for her now famous "Pussy". Mandy is a greatly talented bass player but also has a distinct charm and personality both on and off stage.

Col Mee

Col Mee co founder member of Root'n Toot'n and also of rockabilly trio The Skip Rats takes the role of lead vocalist, rhythm guitar, banjo uke and washboard (likes to be busy!). Can be found at the bar at many a festival!

Joe Guillan

Joe Guillan - Joe from Newcastle-upon-Tyne has played lead guitar with many bands and musicians around the North East of England for over 25 years. Martin Stephenson, John Miller, The Sureshots, The Skip Rats, Deacon Jones & The Sinners to name but a few.

Martin Barrett

We are proud to introduce our "Scottish" representative Mr Martin Barrett who hails from Glasgow.

Marty is well known on the Scottish scene with his band The Tennessee Hotshots and a newly formed band The Fretones and he is a regular with John Miller and his Country Casuals.

Marty has agreed to play with us on our forthcoming Scottish dates and will be featured on our new CD which is due out in summer 2008.

Rob Nedin

Meet Rob Nedin who hails from Swansea and is already a familiar sight with us onstage in and around Wales and surrounding areas. Rob hit the big time with The Rimshots and Gene Gambler and The Shufflers and more recently with Bill Fadden.

Tom Hayes

Tom Hayes from Chatham plays lead guitar for Root'n Toot'n in and around London and the South. Tom has played lead guitar for around 30 years with bands, Rocket 88, Jack Rabbit Slim, The Sunsetters and many others.

Here's Steve Baker from Bolton who recently performed with us at Miss Kitty's festival in Oswestry and at Phoenix Rebels May Round Up 2008. As well as playing mighty fine guitar, Steve also can turn his hand to lap steel guitar which we will introduce to the band in the not too distant future. Steve currently is a regular member of Shaun Horton & The Tennessee Trio who can be seen around the UK at various rockabilly venues. Steve Falkus originally from Newcastle, now living in Shotley Bridge, is the most versatile of our bunch of muso's. Not only is he a fantastic guitarist, but he plays mandolin, banjo and he also sings back up vocals. Steve will be featured on our next CD which is due to be released during 2008.
